In a Temp-To-Hire arrangement, we want to ensure that both you and our client are happy before making it official. You will remain an employee of Sterling while working at the client’s location for an agreed upon timeframe, and, if it’s the right fit, our client will roll you onto their payroll. If not, we’ll keep trying! There’s a job out there for you, and we’d like to help you find it.
It’s a match! In this scenario, we match you to a dynamite position at an awesome company, and our client hires you directly.
As a temporary employee, you will be working on short-term and long-term contract assignments, during project peak periods, or to fill in during vacations. You will remain an employee of Sterling for the duration of your assignment. Temporary assignments can last from as little as a day to several years. We’ll keep an eye out for assignments you are well suited for and let you know when we find a match!
First, fill out our online application. Attach your resume and do your best to be thorough about your work history, education, and skills. We process all applications into our system and screen for the qualifications and skills sets that match our current positions.
Once we have reviewed and selected your application, we will call to schedule a time for you to interview in our office. Remember that our staffing coordinators are your connection to our clients, so dress professionally, be on time, and be prepared. First impressions are key! Please set aside at least an hour for interviewing and testing.
3. Our Turn
Now our work really begins. We search through our job openings and network of clients to find a good match for you. When we find one, we’ll contact you and set up an interview with our client or in some cases, send you right to work! We keep your information at our fingertips so we can call you immediately if a position opens that matches your skills, and be sure to check our job postings! We update them daily.
